Marlborough

Marlborough includes a wide range of neighborhoods that developed during different periods of the city’s growth. Older homes near the downtown area date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, while many suburban neighborhoods were built during the 1950s through the 1980s. In more recent decades, newer subdivisions and condominium communities have been added as the city grew into a regional employment center. Because of its size and location along Interstate 495 and Interstate 290, Marlborough offers a variety of housing styles and price points. Many neighborhoods are close to major employers, shopping, dining, parks, and recreational amenities such as Fort Meadow Reservoir and the Assabet River Rail Trail.
